Training & Professional Development

One of the Louisville Energy Alliance’s core initiatives is to either provide or connect the community we serve with training and educational support to help drive energy efficiency and cost reduction in commercial buildings.  Whether offering training courses directly to building owner/operators, or partnering with like minded organizations to support their mission, the LEA strives to cultivate an educated, energy efficient minded community.

ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Training
The LEA hosts annual ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager user group training.  This training consists of multiple, phased two hours training sessions where a recorded ENERGY STAR training course is played and followed by live Q&A where LEA members/partners provide instructional assistance to the attendees.  The training is held in a Spalding University computer classroom to provide access to PC’s and is free of charge.  For those who cannot attend these sessions, you can access the recorded sessions and much more at: ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager Recorded Training Sessions (select “View Event Recordings” in the top right).

The next scheduled training course will be: TBD
The Louisville Energy Alliance (LEA) is a 501(c)3 organization that promotes energy efficiency and conservation through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR programs and certifications. LEA’s vision is to reduce greenhouse gas emission through energy efficiency and conservation efforts.
